The ability to write coherently and cohesively takes a lot practice and time. Even famous writers will testify that the process of writing is never a steady thing; there are many ups and downs that the writers go through their writing careers and these are seasoned writers! It is then expected of the beginners of English language to face problems as they first start out writing in the language.

This module is designed to teach them how to write on a wide variety of topics, formats with the sole purpose that they will be able to use their writing abilities beyond the classroom as well. This module is designed to serve a very practical purpose in the lives of its candidates by teaching them how to draft e-mails on topics that might be of actual relevance to them, writing letters (to the school authorities of their children, relatives, for legal purposes etc), and writing fiction and non-fiction copies as well. 

More often than not, beginners of the English language shy away from speaking openly in public for fear of saying something incorrectly. The only way to get things right is by talking in the language as much as possible.  

Homemakers are often faced with situations where they have to communicate with people of different strata’s of life. These situations might be important due to the issue at hand, say something pertaining to the finances of the house or their children’s school or wellbeing, they need to be attentive in such situations putting their points across in a clear manner. They need to communicate well in order to cancel out the ‘lost in translation’ scenario. This module caters to them by stimulating various scenarios where they will need to communicate in English. 

The best way to learn any language is to read as much as one can in it. There are some wonderful literary works that are sure to be both entertaining and education for our candidates.

The purpose of this module is to give them on hand grammar, structure and composition lessons by way of reading aloud in class, understanding the main idea of the text or passage and reviewing the language used in it. Through reading out loud, they will get accustomed to their own voice pronouncing different words in English, covering phonetics as well. 

There is no running away from this. No matter what age, ore reason you might need to learn English, getting the grammar correct is at the heart of it all. Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Adverbs, Prepositions, Punctuations, Tenses, Plurals, Synonyms-Antonyms, Degrees of Comparison, Subject-Object, sentence structures, types of sentences, genders all these and more will be covered in great detail in this module. 

Homemakers, more than anyone else need to be able to communicate things properly else the working of the entire household comes to a standstill. This module is designed to arms the super beings that they are with a vocabulary worthy of their time. Delivering short precise instructions with the right use of powerful words can make an impact on the people they come across in their day-to-day life.

Like all the modules in this course, this one too has been designed to serve a practical purpose in the lives of our candidates. They will be taught how to understand and derive useful information from a variety of texts that they might come across in their daily lives. These will include official announcement by the school, magazine articles, newspaper articles, website articles, legal notices, bank statements and so on.
