Supplement your money unit with this  lesson. Children will learn when they compare, count, and spend coins such as quarters, half-dollars, dimes, nickels, and dollars. This lesson also helps students practice counting by 2’s, 5’s, 10’s, and 100. After correctly counting their coins, children decide which item is most affordable based on the money they have – a crucial real world skill for young learners!

This Programme will basically deal with problems based on the money coins.

Programme Objectives:

1) Understanding the value of different coins in real world.

2) to know and compare money value including quarter, cents, nickels, dimes and dollars.

3) to recognize the relative value of a penny, nickel, quarter and dime and show how different combinations can have same value.

4) to count by 2's, 5's, and 10's to 100.
